Mugling Schools Project

We have been working with a small rural school in Tandhara to help them rebuild after the earthquake damaged their buildings. 

Rebuilding GRG Staffs Homes

3 members of GRG's had their homes destroyed in the recent earthquakes. GRG's owner, Maila, has made the promise to help them rebuild their homes. 

Initial Aid Distribution, Dharsing.

In the aftermath of the earthquake we traveled to one of our local villages in Gorkha to provide them with intial emergency aid. 

Street Children's Development

We have been involved with a group of children from the Street Children's Rehabilitation Center for the passed three years now. Providing them with training, conselling and support as they grow up into young men. 

ReKittribution

Over the passed 5 years, we have been collecting second hand kayaking equipment from paddlers all over the world and donating it to up and coming paddlers in Nepal. Giving a new lease of life to second hand equipment.

Previous Projects

Cleaning the Pokhara Lake

In 2013 during our off season, we spent a weekend with all out staff and volunteers cleaning the Fewa Tal in Pokhara. We filled 6 rafts full of rubbish and made our way around the whole lake. 

Community Project in Dhading

February 23, 2023

We took a group of young students from Canada up to Dhading for a week where they particiapted in community development. We helped paint a primary school to create a more suitable learning environment for the students and participated in rural homestays. 

Raft Guide Training for Bhutanese Guides.

We provided some pro bono training to a group of guides from Bhutan in the help to give them a kick start to their careers in Bhutan. 

Recycling Scheme in Mugling

Mugling is where many of our guides are from. We helped clean up the town and also provided education on waste disposal to the community. 

Green Soldiers, Kathmandu

January 01, 2020

We teamed up with the Green Soldiers in Kathmandu to help clean up the city including many historic sites such as Swyambuth (The Monkey Temple)

Revamping Government Schools

With the support of the World Class Kayak Academy, we have given a new lease of life to a large, under funded secondary school in Pokhara. 

Donating Woolly Hats

In the winter it can get extremely cold in Nepal. We took a trip up to a rural village a 4 hour walk from Mugling to donate warm yak wool hats to the entire village.
